I had assumed I was the only one who found these bands quite boring and almost ignoring the whole idea of post-punk by being as dull and unoriginal as they could be.
I thought post-punk was about a sense of experimentation, darkness, and most importantly as you have already mentioned- PASSION.

Nice read, man! This is the same feeling I have, that’s why when two friends and I created our band Pure Juniper we decided to be completely different from everything else. We have two guitars and vocals, sometimes spicing it up with something like chiptune and harmonica. I’m the vocalist and I can’t sing at all.

I think another reason there aren’t a lot of artists whos vocalist can’t sing is because it’s EXTREMELY stressful promoting your music if you can’t sing. You have to learn to take critisim and a lack of interest, that’s for sure.
